Hi my EFL Friends, sorry for skipping a day not to write in my blog, I am a little get busy two days ago. I spent my quality time at one of public school at my town designing material for VII grade students. Now, I want to share all of my experiences when I was there with really fabulous teachers of senior high school numero uno kota Bengkulu.
Designing material for junior high school/middle school is not really easy, I needed to find suitable method and activities to make the class meaningful and alive. Thinking about brilliant ideas to convey and teach my students in the first step to be a real professional teacher, and FYI I do love teaching and I breath on it everyday.
A couple days ago my team, English teacher and I arranged seven chapters that will be taught for this first semester. I was the person in charge in designing activities in the classroom. The materials were about Greetings, partings, asking for opinion and information, list of things, apologizing, thanking, notice, advertisement, and describing thing.
It was really nice because that was the first time of me spending time designing classroom material for senior high school. Sure I need to learn much, and it was my luck because I've got many back up. I was guided by some of the awesome English teachers. It made me on fire in teaching English there.
The most important thing was, I was accepted well there. The teachers were great, they guided and taught me many incredible things. Besides I was the youngest there and they were really welcome on me. It was such a blessing, indeed.
Tomorrow will be the last day for us to arrange material for our class. I want to do my best to teach my students, I hope you have the same spirit as me.
Teaching is the greatest job in the world. Bye now...
